Megan Gould joined the Department of Communication at the College of Charleston as the Coordinator for Events, Outreach, and Public Relations in August 2019. Most recently, she worked in administrative roles at the College for the Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs, and the Faculty Senate. She previously worked with software management, extensive user training, event coordination, public relations, faculty credentialing, web content management, and digital archiving. Megan has been at the College since 2014, and is a proud alumna of the department's masters degree program.

As the Coorindator for Events, Outreach, and Public Relations with the Department of Communication, Megan coordinates 15+ events yearly, including the bi-annual Advisory Council meetings. She oversees the marketing strategy, graphic designing, and promotion for the department. She also manages the social media platforms, serves as the departmental webmaster, manages budgetary functions, and directs alumni outreach initiatives with the faculty. Megan also works as one of the team leads for the high-profile CofC Bully Pulpit Series.

Megan received her master's degree in communication from the University of Charleston, SC at the College of Charleston. During her graduate studies she worked with both the Graduate Student Association (GSA) and the Masters in Communication Student Association (MCSA). She received her bachelor's degree in communication studies from Bridgewater College (Virginia), where she was a four-year collegiate athlete on the women's field hockey team.

In her free time, Meg enjoys working on home rennovations, long neighborhood walks with her pup Camellia (Cami), reading, traveling, and photography.
