Kelli Parsons

Former SVP and Chief Communications and Marketing Officer, New York Life



Kelli is a multidimensional leader with 25 years of global experience in communications, marketing, consulting and news media. She has served as chief communications and marketing officer for two Fortune 100 financial services companies and a leading global private equity partnership. During a decade with one of the top global communications consultancies, she led profitable growth of the largest geographies, practices and client relationships. Kelli began her career as a journalist, developing an understanding of the news media from the inside.

Kelli most recently served as Chief Communications and Marketing Officer of New York Life, a Fortune 100 global insurance and investment company. In that role she was responsible for corporate communications, brand strategy and experience, employee experience, multimedia, events and creative services.

Previously, Kelli led communications, marketing, community engagement and grant making as Chief Communications Officer at Fannie Mae. A contributor to Fannie Mae’s business transformation, she authored a strategy and message to communicate its historic turnaround. PR Week honored her team as 2014 Team of the Year.

Kelli previously served as Head of Global Communications and Marketing at Warburg Pincus and as Executive Vice President and General Manager at Hill & Knowlton where she led the corporate practice and the New York and Washington, DC offices.

Kelli began her career as a television news reporter. She earned degrees from Northwestern University Medill Graduate School of Journalism and Murray State University. She is a trustee of the Arthur W. Page Society.
