Laurie Lattimore-Volkmann is an adjunct professor, teaching primarily advanced media writing and public relations courses at the College of Charleston.

A Colorado native, Lattimore-Volkmann has been teaching journalism and public relations at universities in South Carolina, California and Georgia for the past 17 years. This is her seventh year at CofC.

Lattimore-Volkmann is also an editor and senior writer for SBNation’s Denver Broncos blog, Mile High Report.

Since earning a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University and master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Alabama, Lattimore-Volkmann has worked as a reporter at daily and weekly newspapers as well as communications director for various non-profits.

Lattimore-Volkmann is married and has two boys, both of whom are die-hard Broncos fans, thanks to her influence.

In her free time, Lattimore-Volkmann loves cycling, paddle-boarding, wakeboarding, playing pickleball, ballroom dancing, and of course, cheering on her beloved Broncos
