Chris Noland

Adjunct Faculty

Chris Noland is an adjunct professor teaching mainly public speaking courses but also specializes in digital media and persuasion. He's originally from northwest Louisiana so he is neither a Cajun nor a Saints fan. He is a Cowboys fan and does not care who knows it.

Chris and his wife, a veterinarian, have a Pomeranian named Jeffrey, a Chihuahua named Pebbles and a Treeing Walker Hound named Mary Frances. Chris is currently a doctoral student at the University of South Carolina finishing his dissertation on emotional flow, the strategic sequencing of multiple emotions within a single message to affect consumer behavior. He is also an alumnus of the College of Charleston.

When Chris is not studying or writing papers, he can be found traveling to the mountains or taking the kayaks out to the Wando river with his wife. He also regularly fights the Pomeranian to establish dominance and loses more often than he wins.
